Spanish food phrases
Hello
If you were trying to say that you enjoyed food, would you use the verb- disfrutar?
Thanks

Yes, you could use disfrutar, however in this situation it´s more common to comment on the quality of the food, rather than saying that you enjoyed it, by using adjectives to discribe it such as rico, sabroso, etc. ie: ¡Las enchiladas estaban bien ricas! / ¡Qué sabrosa estaba la sopa de fideo! / (idiomatic) ¡Las chuletas estaban para morirse!

Well, you can use it , maybe gustar is more common.
Disfruto mucho de una buena comida.
Me gusta mucho comer, una buena comida, la fabada, una paella...

Hello!
Are you referring to "¡Buen provecho!" & ¡Que aproveche! for "Enjoy your meal!"?
Also, here's an example of a question & answer, if you are referring to disfrutar:
- Question: Did you enjoy your meal? ¿Les gustó la comida?
- Answer: I really enjoy reading and drinking coffee. Disfruto mucho leer y tomar café.
Hope this helps.
Regards!
