First time writing in Spanish, feedback/proofreading

¡Hola!

I've been attempting to teach myself Spanish via a combination of podcasts/workbooks/children's books in Spanish but haven't had the opportunity to actually compose written sentences with guidance.

A podcast I'm quite enjoying (Notes in Spanish) assigns a written exercise at the end of each episode, but they closed their forums 7 years ago so the proofreading ship there has sailed. I was wondering if someone would be able to look over the following mini paragraphs and proofread/give me feedback. I would really appreciate it!

My goal with these paragraphs is to introduce myself and talk about what I will be doing this weekend. ¡Gracias!

Me llamo Emily. Me gusta leer and me encanta dibujar. Odio los desórdenes pero yo soy una persona muy desordenada. Me horroriza la canción . Yo estoy muy nuevo en español y aprendo un idioma segundo.

Este fin de semana voy a cuidar los perros de mi vecino. Tengo que dar de comer los perros. También, voy a hacer kayak y caminar con mi novio. iVoy a practicar el español!

Yo"soy muy nueva" en "aprender español como segundo idioma"·. Este fin de semana voy a cuidar los perros de mi vecino. Tengo que dar de comer "a" los perros. También, voy a hacer kayak y caminar con mi novio. iVoy a practicar el español!

Thank you, especially with the corrections for the sentence about learning Spanish! I am curious, why is it Ser instead of Estar? I know Ser is for permanent states and Estar is for temporary states, but it can get kind of gray for me. - TinyTangerine, Aug 24, 2017
