excellent . I had thought of manotear in 3 but manosear is good too. Congratulations on hojear/ojear - polenta1, Aug 27, 2017

Con verbos formados de los sustantivos espalda, codo, cola, palma, y brazo, complete la oraciones.

a. En la alberca, -palmeo------ como loco. b. Durante la reunión, mi amigo me --codeó----- cuando empecé a dormir. c. Mi perro -colea------ mucho cuanda regreso a casa. d. Los hechos respaldan------- mi hipótesis. e. -Abraza ------ el bebé suavemente. (al)

I personally wouldn't use some of these verbs like here but it seems it's ok.

I would use d and e perfectly like here.

Yo estaba triste y él me palmeó en la espalda.
A Pablo le gusta codearse con gente de clase alta. I personally don't use colear.

Thanks for your contribution. I like it.

I enjoyed doing this polenta. I guessed correctly the verbs from pierna and cabeza and double checked how the one from ojo was spelled. The other ones I knew including the one with h.

Most of them have direct equivalents in English.

All the verbs end in ar is that because it is the most common ending or is there a reason connected with the body parts.

I will not write my answers as it would be good for others to have a go without seeing my answers.

The correct word before an altar is genuflect [obviously I chose the body part verb]

I now know some new vocabulary

I don't think there is a reason of the _ar verbs and thanks for your answer. - polenta1, Aug 22, 2017
