No entiendo la pregunta. ¿La puedes aclarar? - bosquederoble, Aug 16, 2017
Welcome to SpanishDict, Liz. You need to make it clear what you are asking. - rac1, Aug 16, 2017
The individual has done part of the first lesson to learn English from Spanish, so I assumed hispanohablante. :) - bosquederoble, Aug 16, 2017

Ok, another wild guess: in Puerto Rico, "Vellón" is used colloquially to refer to either a five-cent (most commonly) or a 10 cent (in some places) coin.

This is a relic word from the times of the Spanish colonization.

Looks like she may be a hispanohablante, still they would nth be said as B. - Mardle, Aug 16, 2017
You'd be surprised. In Latin American spoken Spanish people do not make a distinction between the "b" and the "v" sounds, so the confusion is quite possible. - Gekkosan, Aug 16, 2017
My auto correct mucked it up. I agree with you the V and B are said the same and swapped around. - Mardle, Aug 16, 2017
