Can someone check my sentences?
Cuando viajaba a Costa Rica, iba a ver las cascadas, volcanes, playas y reservas nacionales. También iba buceo y surf.

Echoline asks whether these activities were habitual. Do you understand why? (Hint: You have asked about the preterite before.)
Why do you say iba a ver but iba buceo? Why the a in one case and not the other, and in one case an infinitive but in the other a conjugated verb?
Are you using surf as a Spanish verb? I would suggest hacer surf or surfear. How exactly would you conjugate your verb surf in Spanish? Yo surf, tú surf, él surfs?
Note please that in Spanish as in English, Iba a pasar el día en casa (I was going to spend the day at home) often hints that there's a but coming... that you ended up not spending the day at home. Can you think of a way to express, unequivocally, that you did in fact do the things that you were "going to do"?
Do you habitually go to Costa Rica, or was this a one-time vacation?
Also : Algunos animales veía eran ranas, delfines, monos y arañas.
HI Pink, everything needs to be in past simple:
I will do the first sentence for you:
Cuando viajé a Costa Rica, fui a ver las cascadas, volcanes, playas y reservas nacionales.
with buceo, you can either say "hacer buceo" or "bucear". Both in past tense, obviously.
Please correct your sentence and post them on an answer so that we can check them for you ![]()
