Question

This was a problem I had this morning: "There was an error posting your answer."

NKM had the same problem:

"There was an error posting your answer." - NKM1974 14 hrs ago flag

any news on this ?

I have gotten it several times.

Solution- delete the links, then it will post, then go to edit and put the links back in and it will save it correctly. I don't know why it won't take some links in the first place, but it always allows them to be added back via edit.

I've just had it on a post I was trying to post, I tried several times and got a pink notice there is an error in your answer. I then found a new photo and it posted first time, but I do not know if the change of picture was a coincidence.

Due to the weekend, I won't get a message until Monday. I went to the Feedback section and sent a message regarding this issue. I was able to reply on Picture of the Day & Word of the Day in Spanish without any problems.

UPDATE: Here's the e-mail message I received on August 14, 2017 at 5:45 PM US EDT.

Hello AC,

Could you give me an example of something you tried to post when you received that error message? It's possible that the site is accidentally identifying something in your comment as being on our block list for anti-spam measures. It would be really helpful to know which words you used and/or if you had included a link to another webpage.

I had the error message last night and again this morning. This morning not only did I get the error message but also the preview was missing. We've had this happen before and eventually, maybe after enough people sent feedback, it cleared up.

Thank you, Stephanie. I have also had the problem for the past 2 days. I have also gotten around it by first posting my answer, then going into edit and adding the picture from there.

Am also having an issue with voting up. Many times it is not registering, so I have to "unvote" it and then for some reason it works. I know, counter-intuitive.

I have an odd problem now.

I created the ...ería thread. This one Click here.

Now I want to edit it and ask that no more be posted because we have 145 suggestions.

But I can´t edit it - when I do and post it nothing appears. I get no messages.

I can edit other threads though.

It has come back again , although with that editing magic that bosque

showed us one is able to post an image nevertheless it is a bore.
