Remember to do is what you have to do in the future. or at least an action after the action of remembering.
Please remember to wash the dishes. (first you remember and then you wash the dishes)
Remember doing is what you did in the past. j
I remember going to the park with my parents when I was a child.
Did you remember _____(to go,going)to the shop for me.
A question of this type is very similar in meaning and grammatical structure to:
Did you go to the shop for me?
or
Did you going to the shop for me?
Only one of the above questions is correct grammatically. Also, one of them sounds perfect and the other one sounds like a foreign language.
By simplifying the sentence in this manner can you see / feel which one is correct?

The above is all you need to choose the right answer for your problem. The following may help you or it may be too complex for you to understand right now. If it is, just ignore it for now and focus on the first part of this answer (above the line)
How a question is answered will also help you to choose the right form of the question. The form of the verb used in the answer will usually provide a clue for the proper form to use in the question.
Did you remember _____(to go,going)to the shop for me?
Yes, I went to the store for you. (simple past, not the -ing form) (sounds perfect)
or
Yes, I (was) going to the store for you. (past progressive) (sounds horrible)
Only the first sentence sounds right. This helps you to choose the proper form of the verb in the question.
Do you remember _____(to go, going) to the shop with me when we were little?
Yes, I remember to go to the shop with you when we were little. (sounds horrible)
or
Yes, I remember going to the shop with you when we were little. (sounds perfect)
Here, only the second sentence sounds right. So "going" must be used for this question.
