I wonder if this expression is common all over Spanish.-speaking countries or it's only regional. What do you know?
Quise comprarme el vestido y como no me alcanzaba el dinero , la vendedora me hizo precio.
Yo desconfío cuando te hacen precio sin haberlo pedido.
Le hice precio porque me di cuenta que si no, yo no haría la venta.
Es imposible que te hagan precio en un supermercado porque los precios son fijos.
Nos hicieron precio por los zapatos porque tenían una pequeña avería.

Sí, aquí es frecuente.
Me hizo precio debe ser algo así como la forma corta de me hizo/dio un precio especial.
