I want to state the following in Spanish and have constructed the sentence below, please correct if required.

They did not invite me to join their holiday. I will therefore, not ask or speak about it.

Ellos no me invitamos a participar en el vaciones, por lo tanto preguntaré o hablar los sobre.

Thanks so much

Notes: this not a case of sour grapes, my the 3rd party asssumed I did not have the available days to book off from work as holiday.

hey did not invite me to join their holiday. I will therefore, not ask or speak about it.

Ellos no me invitamos a participar en el vaciones, por lo tanto preguntaré o

"They did not invite" would be "invitaron". "No me invitaron". "They did not invite me.".

"las vacaciones"por ser plural y femenina.,,,

,,,, ,,,

Disculpa, ya llegan los asesores de mi propiedad. Me tengo que despedir.

In English we generally use the singular form of the word: 'holiday' as for example: I am going on holiday to Spain, however, the Spanish people always use the plural form: vacaciones (feminine) Therefore, when referring to the word,' holidays' in Spanish the substitutionary personal pronoun here would be ellas (las vacaciones)

They did not invite me to join their holiday. I will therefore, not ask or speak about it (them).

I would say:

Ellos no me invitaron a participar en sus vacaciones. Por lo tanto (o por eso), no preguntaré o hablaré sobre ellas.

The correct verb conjugation of the verb invitar for they is invitaron = they invited. Invitamos is not correct in your sentence! Invitamos= we (not they) invited

I hope this helps smile

Corrijan mi español si es necesario, por favor smile

Wannalearn:

Since you want to learn I'm going to point out some things to you and ask you to give it another try.

Ellos no me invitamos a participar en el vaciones, por lo tanto preguntaré o hablar los sobre.

The verb invitar is conjugated for "we" while it should be conjugated for "they"

You misspelled vacation. Also it is feminine and plural so el is not the right article.

You cannot end a sentence with a preposition in Spanish.

You don't have a negative statement in the final clause. You need a negative word such as no or ni.

In the last phrase you have one verb in the future and another in the present which is quite unusual.

In the last phrase you have the verb hablar in the infinitive form. It should be conjugated in this case since it follows the conjunction "o"

Wannalearn: It seems to me, that with so many mistakes, you may want to follow a structured course if you're not already. We have a good course here which is free. If you choose Learn Spanish from the main menu and then click on SpanishDict Video course you will find some excellent lessons. They are quite comprehensive and may take several months to complete, but once you do so, your Spanish will improve tremendously.
