Lazarus is back!!!!
Let me be the first to welcome back Lazarus, a true legend of SpanishDict!
Heidita told me via PM that she was going to email him and try to lure him back to participate in some of the grammar discussions we have been having and I was really hoping he would come back.
The name Lazarus reminds me of the man in the Bible who Jesus raised from the dead. 
However, our Lazarus was never dead to us in spite of his lengthy absence. His prior posts are frequently quoted and linked to in order to resolve some grammar debate or enlighten someone about many things.

Seriously, I don´t mind. Just thank Heidita: she's the one who made me come back. She is one of the kindest and most gracious people I´ve ever met.
I couldn't agree more Ken. Lazarus is a legend! I can't believe he gives up his time to help us for free! I've told him in the past, with his knowledge he should be making a fortune.
I've cancelled the sports and movie channels on pay per view tv. Won't have time to watch them anymore........Lazarus is back 
I am really happy that he answered my call. Nobody is as knowledgeable about grammar as Lazarus.
he once told me that he had so many grammar books , if he put them all on the floor, they would cover the whole living room floor

Absolutely fabulous!!! Can't wait to see him again. In my opinion, Laz, Heidi and Gekko were the heart, soul and brain-trust of the "old" SD and the return of the three of them will make this currently strong incarnation of SD even stronger!
Wow, that's really good news, Ken! Lazarus's knowledge and understanding of his native Spanish language is incredible!

Seriously, it would be great to have Lazarus back on board if he were to chose to return!!! I am sure that we could enjoy many lively and interesting debates about various aspects of the Spanish language in the forum!

In my humble opinion Lazarus was the best most knowledgeable member on SD.

I don't know Lazarus, but I do! I was here after Lazarus left so I don't know him. But when I'm doing research and I'm led to SD I see his contributions all over the place. Clearly, he has made an impact in people's lives to this day (and into the future as well). I'm glad to hear he's coming back.
This is the weirdest thing. Obviously I'm a relative newbie here, with only two and a half years under my belt, so I missed whatever occurred five years back, but I couldn't believe it has been that long since Lazarus was an active member!
So often I have sought an answer and found it explained by Lazarus' words that I would have sworn he has never stopped helping us, and I guess in that sense he hasn't. To have him back now on what will be an interactive level is indeed exciting news.

For me, it is as if a demigod who departed on a long sojourn across the heavens before I was born (i.e., joined Spanishdict) has finally returned. Lazarus, I'm excited that you've come back to Spanisdict. I look forward to learning from you.
