Tan pronto como vs en cuanto

Question

Hello, is there any difference between tan pronto como and en cuanto? Or are they interchangeable?

If there is a difference, can you explain it to me?

Por favor, llámame tan pronto puedas.

Por favor, llámame en cuanto puedas.

Por favor, llámame ni bien puedas.

For me they are if not the same, almost interchangeable.

Both mean the same, however, "tan pronto como" sounds a little bit too formal (or at least too long) for regular conversation.
