Cómo se llama en inglés el departamento que suple de papel de computadora?

This could have two possible meanings.

1 The department that supplies paper for the computers. In fact I suppose it's for the printers.

2 The department that substitutes the role of the computer . For example in the case the system is off or the company has decided not to use computers any longer.(wierd)

I think the confusion comes from "suple" which comes from the verb "suplir". It usually means to "substitute" or to "replace". Only in very few places like Puerto Rico it could mean to "supply". For example a "substitute teacher is a "suplente".

The verb for "supply" is more "abastecer", "proveer" or "suministrar".

So in what sense did you use "suplen"?

I don't know if I have ever used "suplir". When I first looked at it, I thoght "supply" or to "ask/beg for something". I looked it up and saw the meaning. I normally use "remplazar", but now I have a synonym. Thank you.
