Si a uno le gusta viajar, puede buscar...
Hello i would like to ask you if the title's sentence means something like: "If one likes to travel, he can look for..."
If i am correct, isn't it little complicated? Is there any easier way to say this? Why did author used "a" before uno? Could i say it without "a"?
Thanks for responses.

I think your translation is perfect, given what you've posted. In general, it is better to post full sentences if you want to make sure what something means or the best way to translate it. But in this case, if it was the full title of a book, you probably had no choice but to post a sentence fragment.
The "a" before uno is absolutely necessary. It is necessary when using the verb gustar and many other verbs.
I suggest you go to the main menu, click on Language Guide, then click on Verb articles and find and read the article titled "verbs like gustar."
Personally, I wouldn't worry at this point about easier ways to say things. Just learn lots of proper Spanish sentences. Why one person says something one way vs. another way is probably more of an advanced topic of linguistics and human behavior than you need to worry about right now. ![]()
Some people like to talk with as few words as possible, others like to use a lot of words and flowery sentence construction. Some people use both, depending on their mood or what they are trying to communicate. Everything I just wrote in this paragraph is as true in English as it is in Spanish. I suggest just focusing on learning how to say are write correctly in Spanish. The example portion of the sentence which you posted is perfect Spanish.
If there is any easier way of saying something, you'll come across it in your studies. Learn the easy way and the more flowery way. Than when you read or write you can choose between them and you will be a more interesting speaker or writer than another person who only ever uses the easy way.
You must use "a".
Si a uno le gusta viajar....................
Uno is one meaning "you". a generalization of every person.
If one eats too much, one gets fat.
If you eat too much, you get fat.
If any person eats too much, he/she/they get fat.
Me gusta viajar- I like to travel.
A mí me gusta viajar. Same as the first (the " a mí" is redundant but widely used)
A "uno" le gusta viajar. One or someone likes to travel. a generalization.
