OK I understand a little more now. You have looked the word up in the SD dictionary. The green Mexico is showing that the word is used with that meaning in Mexico. I usually use word Reference but have checked in Collins which provides some quotes using the word. I know both quotations are from Mexican authors.

Here is a link

Soldadera

Traditionally, camp followers were people who followed an army to war to provide and sell services. Nowadays camp followers can just be people who support a particular group or political party, but are not members.

The word is obviously linked to the Spanish for soldier.

I am not sure whether you are questioning the meaning or the green word Mexico. I do not usually check words on this site but assume it is indicating where a word is used in a particular country. I know of a number of things where the word used in Mexico is different to that used in Spain eg in UK we say pavement Americans say sidewalk and the Mexican word is different to the one used in Spain.
