Not more than eight lines , please. You will be corrected by me and I will ask an English native speaker to help with those Spanish speakers who wish to participate.
This time I went to Lanzarote. I am an avid diver, on this trip I dived quite a lot, 9 times, and saw a lot of wildlife, among others this incredible "tembladera".
Lanzarote is beautiful , very nice weather. I stayed in the south of the small island, called Playa Blanca. What I really wanted to see was the underwater museum built by Jason De Caires. One of these museums was declared World Heritage.

My husband and I went to Colonia for a couple of days. I already knew the place. It's a small city but its "old city" is considered "Patrimonio de la Humanidad" by Unesco.
This part of South America was, I think .the only part where the Portuguese and the Spaniards had real "livable" borders . The other parts of South America also had borders but they were the Amazon Jungle, where it was much, much more difficult to place European settlers.
As a consequence, we can see very old but picturesque houses, buildings , bridges etc. in the "old city"with Spanish but also Portuguese style . In fact, they say that a lot of people want to invest in that area and it's quite expensive. You have guides to tell you about all its history.
The rest of the city is quiet, nice and with kind people and we went to a "parrillada" or barbecue where I ate a delicious "molleja". I still have the flavor in my mouth........mmmm ............mouthwatering
The room they gave us at the hotel was as if it was "on the sea". When you got near the window, it seemed you were in a ship............amazing.........and part of the joy!.

Excellent work here Polenta. I've corrected for style, not grammar, to make it sound a little more natural in places. Many others have far better grammatical skills than I do! I'm very impressed!
I´m not on vacation yet, till november 8th but my last trip was to Chiapas, a little far from my state but i loved. The first place i went is named San Cristobal de las Casas and the second place was "El Cañon del sumidero" it was a greatness experiences of all my travels. And the firts time i seen "Americans" (People from United States), a couple of they was so weird because when my father and i spoke with the exhibitor, the couple of americans look toward our mouth, i tougth that i have someting in on my face. I been a short time because my family and i have diferents jobs and free day together. I don´t know wich place we go in the next vacation.
Este año viajé en Centroamérica por cinco meses. Empece en Panama y terminé en Mexico. La comida era muy simple, muchos arroz y frijoles. Pero era muy bueno y barato. Mi lugar favorito era Lago de Atitlan en Guatemala. Lo más extraño que vi fue un sacrificio de pollo. La mejor parte fue el transporte publico.... "Buses de Pollo" (vea abajo). El primer día todos los estudiantes tienen que hacer un examen (una prueba) de aptitud para determinar su nivel. Creo que la escuela ofrece cinco o seis grupos de enseñanza distintos según el esquema común de referencia Europea: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 (y quizás C2) (30)
Espero sacar muy buenas notas en este examen de aptitud y espero llegar al nivel C1, o por lo menos B2 (Puedo sobrepasar C1 en la prueba enlinea en el sitio web Cervantes) Mi profesora nativa de España me ha dicho el año pasado que mi nivel de español fue intermedio alto en casi todas las áreas de aprendizaje: hablar, leer y escribir. Tengo que mejorar mi habilidad de escuchar y entender el español hablado especialmente cuando los nativos hablan muy rápido jejeje

La escuela ofrece una gran variedad de actividades interesantes fuera de las horas de estudio.También, creo que la escuela organiza excursiones cortas a varios lugares de interés en Madrid incluyendo: el famoso museo nacional del Prado.(37)
I am going on holiday at the beginning of September, this year. I am already very excited and I can't wait to arrive in Spain.
I am going to do an intensive Spanish course for two weeks at the Cervantes International langusge school in Madrid! I will be staying with a (native) host family so I will have to practise my Spanish all the time!
On the first day, all the students have to do a placement test to determine (find out) their level of aptitude! I believe that the school offers five or six different teaching groups according to the European Common Framework of Reference: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 (and quizás: C2)
I hope to achieve (obtain) very good results in this aptitude test and reach level C1 or at least B2 (I can pass level C1 in the online test on the Cervantes website)
My native Spanish teacher told me last year that my Spanish level was high intermediate in almost all the areas of learning: Speaking, reading and writing..I have to improve my ability to listen and understand spoken Spanish especially when the natives speak very quickly! Hehehe
The school offers a wide variety of interesting activities outside the hours of study! I believe that the school also organizes short excursions to various places of interest in Madrid including the famous national Prado.museum!

Vuelvo a Praga otra vez en dos semanas (solo para un finde largo de copas con los hombres) y luego a España (Murcia) en octubre para tres semanas.

Hola billy, como ves he cambiado alguna cosilla para que suene más "chulo", fijo que te gusta. Casi sin faltas, un gran logro
Por abril me fui a New Orleans y pasé alli la semana de mi cumpleaños. Fui a una excursión de en lancha por el pantano y ví a los caimanes. 
Comí mucha comida rica como el pudín de pan, ostras a la parrilla, cangrejo de río, beignets (un postre francés), caimán frito (sabe más o menos de a pollo), jambalaya, gumbo y un po'boy de pescado (una torta "chico pobre").
Me quedé cerca del distrito jardín y fui en tranvía hasta el centro donde hay mucha arquitectura interesante como balcones con barandillas de hierro colado.
Visité a una tienda de vudú y aprendí sobre de la historia del de la religión y del uso de las muñecas de vudú.
También visité a un museo de insectos y a un taller donde hacen las carrozas para el desfile de Mardi Gras.
Vaya viaje tan interesante, como siempre casi impecable tu español, fascinante lo del caimán, ves, eso no lo he visto nunca!!! Y te conste que no quiero ver ninguno buceando!!!

Me gustaría destacar ciertos errores:
pasé alli la semana

sabe más o menos a pollo
aprendí sobre la historia de la religión

Esta carne sabe a cerdo. Esta bebida sabe a algo químico etc.
un paseo en coche, una excursión en velero, un viaje en moto etc.
visité a mi amigo, visité a Juan pero visité París, visité la escuela etc.

yep, not quite right and hard to explain why not but I don't think I've ever heard a native English speaker say, "Do you know New Orleans?" or "Yes, I know the place." I would say, "Have you ever been to New Orleans?" "Yes, I've been there." -

I understood the sentence, "I already knew the place" to mean "Ya conocí el lugar" but I do agree with billygoat that it doesn't sound quite right in English. I'm from the U.S. and I'd probably say, "I'd been there before" or, if I had been there enough to be very familiar with it, I might say, "I already knew the place well." If I had heard of it but had never visited, I might say, "I already knew of the place" or "I already knew about the place."
Wow, that really throws me...I say that all the time :(
Is it correct in present tense? I know the place? I guess it must be...but I also thought it was correct in past tense...wow, not "quite right"...seeeeeee, that is what happens to so many sentences, in both languages. people ask, but why is it not correct or why wouldn't you say it that way?

I was about to add another comment to polenta's answer but it'll be easy to write here. I understood the sentence, "I already knew the place" to mean "Ya conocí el lugar" but I do agree with billygoat that it doesn't sound quite right in English. I also wanted to share with you all my trick for translating phrases like "Patrimonio de la Humanidad" that are linked to international organizations. I would not have known to translate it as "World Heritage Site" but if you search for it on Wikipedia in Spanish you can change the language of the article to English by clicking on the little language icon near the top right-hand corner. That way you can see what the common translation used by the organization is. I would have guessed that it might be something like human heritage or heritage of humanity if I hadn't searched it.

Pero luego una hija se embarazó, y por eso pasamos la primera semana de Julio esperando ansiosamente una llamada en nuestra terraza, una llamada que no vino hasta el siete. Voy a estar de vacaciones en dos semanas, pero algunos parientes va a venir para el eclipse y luego tendremos que visitar otros parientes en Oregón y Washington. Ojalá que el tráfico no sea tan malo que perdamos el eclipse. En Septiembre vamos en un crucero a Alaska, y en Noviembre vamos a Kona, Hawái. Quizás el año que viene vayamos a Europa.

jeje, me encanta lo de Inglaterra ya no es Europa Sin embargo te debería echar una bronca por escribir los meses con mayúscula. . Al final he cambiado algunos verbos para evitar tanta repetición de "vamos, vayamos"
