Other than intonation, you can start with the verb.
"¿Conversan ellas en la cafetería de la universidad?"
"¿Praparan Mariana y Javier la tarea?" or even "¿Preparan la tarea Mariana y Javier?"
Long subjects like Mariana y Javier or El profesor Miranda can be placed at the end.
You can also use "confirmation tags." "Ellas conversan en la cafetería, ¿no? (There are several more confirmation tags.)
Now do the same with the others.
