domestic, doméstico false friends
I've seen that the word "domestic" is used in one of its meanings whereas in Spanish we don't use it.
I've heard "domestic" cheese for example. We wouln't say queso doméstico. We would say queso "nacional" as opposed to queso importado.
As for the word "doméstico" used with the meaning of "home" it's the same.
A mí me encantan las tareas domésticas.
Prefiero el queso importado al nacional, pero es mucho más caro.
I hope this helps.

Yes, and the word domestic can also be used to refer to a person as a synonym for household help, the same as el empleado doméstico (a) .
And it is also used in English to differentiate between a wild animal and a tame animal.
Nacional, Interior si se refiere a política, comercio o un vuelo. Si se refiere a tu hogar, dulce hogar, sí vale el falso amigo. National or Interior if it refers to politics, trade or a flight. Yes, if it refers to your home sweet home and false friend.
