I love this saying. I take advantage of this. If I want to talk a little Spanish I go to a nearby Mexican restaurant that has friendly waiters, waitresses and bartenders. If I go for lunch at 2:00 or so in the afternoon they are not very busy so I am able to talk with them to my hearts content.
They seem to enjoy it also and although they almost always understand what I am trying to say they like to teach me how to say things they way they say them. When I return and I use some of what they have taught me they really seem to get a kick out of it.
