cnaging meaning in adjectives re Ser and estar

I dont have a question but need to leave to join mu intercambio group. I wanted to print off the list of adjectives which change their meaning according to whether ser or estar is used. I came across this yesterday in my Spanish lesson (in Málaga Spain) You missed rico/a. This means 'rich' when used with ser but 'fit' as in he/she is very attractive when used with estar. Just so you all know. i dont know the American for the slang use of 'fit'. Sorry but I only speak English English.

One meaning of "fit" in American English is "in good/excellent physical condition." It is not slang. If "fit" in British English means "attractive", then we would say "good-looking" for both sexes. "Hunk" would be male. "Babe" would be female. There are many others.

Hi Helena

Welcome to the forum.

Have you looked at a reference posting on the site or a question? Are you trying to point out an example which is missing?

When you have finished your lesson perhaps you can amend your post to clarify, though it will be tempting to just head to the beach!
