En el pasado tenía que poner una sombrilla en la terraza para proteger la mesa del sol de la tarde, pero debido a que el árbol del vecino ha crecido tan grande tanto, ya no es necesario.

In the past I would have to put up an umbrella on the deck to protect the table from the afternoon sun, but because the neighbor's tree has grown so big, that is no longer necessary.

Hi Asto. In normal speech "lace and silk umbrella" but in a song / poem the way you have it is perfectly acceptable. The next line should be "Love sings in a low / soft voice." - jellonz, Jun 30, 2017

Me gustaba mucho mojar. Me y no queria sombrilla cuando era joven. Me acuerdo hasta ahora del baile de lluvia despues de dejar la clase. ...decian que muchas mujeres venían conmigo atraIdo por mi baile folcloríco y por ser nepali.
