El más rápido que respondes correctamente, los más puntos que recibes.

I opened the section of Spanishdict of flashcards. I saw the word "recognize" and "higiene". Then I saw "El más rápido que respondes correctamente, los más puntos que recibes.

I don't know who wrote it or when it was written but I'm asking Spanishdict members to say if the sentence above is correct or incorrect and if not, try to correct it.

Thanks in advance and sorry for what I'm doing if this is what is NOT supposed to be done.

My best guess is that this would be correct:

Cuánto más rápido respondas correctamente, más puntos recibirás.

Obviously I am answering this as an exercise, not to give a correct answer, as we know Polenta knows the correct answer. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 26, 2017
Do you mind if we wait ? And is the sentence right or I have to suppose it's wrong? - polenta1, Jun 26, 2017
I think it is a bad word for word translation of the English, if you need me to specifically say that. And yes, I have no objections to seeing other opinions before you correct mine. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 26, 2017
Ésta polenta creo que nos va a tener intrigados un buen rato. ;) - 000a35ff, Jun 26, 2017
The sentence is not correct. Bosque is right on this one. - 00fac92a, Jun 26, 2017

El más rápido que respondes correctamente, los más puntos que recibes is wrong.

Bosque's correction is right. j Cuánto más rápido respondas correctamente, más puntos recibirás.(eventually in the uncertain future)

It could also be

Cuanto más rápido respondes correctamente, más puntos recibes. (indicative for something that is always true)

There might be other ways but remember "double comparative" in Spanish.
Cuanto más como, más engordo. Cuanto menos como, más adelgazo.
Cuanto más crecen nuestros hijos, más problemas tenemos los padres.
Cuanto más plata tiene la gente, más trabaja aunque parezca mentira

Gracias, Polenta. I did see it as advising the individual on their not yet started performance, but it could indeed easily be stated in the situation as a general rule. :) - bosquederoble, Jun 26, 2017
