Exercise: How do I say in Spanish: To get/have something done

Question

This is an interesting exercise where you can practise the forms :get or have something done in Spanish.

There are several different tenses and in Spanish, there is a special form of saying this.

I will give one example:

I must have my hair done.

Tengo que arreglarme el pelo.

HI everybody, I think I was not too clear on that:

We are filthy liars in Spain, one should think we have no workshops or hairdressers or cleaning ladies...we do it all ourselves.

We cut our hair, we don't have it cut.

We repair our car, we don't have it repaired .

Of course we don't actually do it...but we say it that way

Please post a picture to make the thread more colourful. And use all kind of tenses.

I will start:

I am going to get my hair cut.

Voy a cortarme el pelo

I must have my home cleaned and organized before my parents come to spend the weekend. Tengo que limpiar y organizar mi casa antes de que mis padres vengan a pasarse el fin de semana.

Tuvimos un escape en un tubo en la pared del piso arriba, así que tuvimos que reemplazar el tubo, arreglar una pared y un techo y también reinstalar un suelo de linóleo y un gabinete con lavabo. Pinté la pared y el techo, reinstalé el gabinete y conecté el lavabo por mí mismo. ¡Qué quebradero de cabeza!

We had a leak in a tube pipe in the wall upstairs, so we had to replace the tube, fix a wall and a ceiling and also reinstall a linoleum floor and a cabinet with a sink. I painted the wall and the ceiling, reinstalled the cabinet, and connected the sink by myself. What a headache!
