Declining for gender 'dor' adjectives

Question

Take a recent word of the day, the adjective 'adormecedor' (sleepy/numbing)

I was always under the impression that the masculine and feminine variants of this type of adjective were the same: 'adormecedor' in the singular and 'adormecedores' in the plural.

Yet in the recent word of the day, one example had '...una sustancia adormecedora..'

If this is the case, I take it then the feminine plural ends 'as' instead of 'es'?

conocedor/conocedora
trabajador/trabajadora
encantador/encantadora
conservador/conservadora

...and on and on.

Hay unos ruidos ensordecedores.
Eran multitudes ensordecedoras.

They have feminine and plural.
