Question

I've narrowed these down to the answers I'm unsure about. I struggle with which form to use at what time. The * are the answers I selected. Directions are to Select the appropriate verb to complete each sentence. 2. Catalina y Julio ____ regatear. saben/conocen 4. Mi novia __ a mis padres. conoce/sabe/conozco/sabes 5. Yo __ Madrid. sé/conozco 8. Sandra y Andrea __ la universidad. saben/sabemos/conocen 11. Yo ____ montar a caballo. sabe/conozco/sé/conoce

You picked saben, I agree, it is something they know how to do.

1. Mi novia __ a mis padres. conoce/sabe/conozco/sabes

You picked sabe, I would pick conoce- she is familiar with/has met

1. Yo __ Madrid. sé/conozco

You picked conozco, I would pick the same, you are familiar with Madrid

1. Sandra y Andrea __ la universidad. saben/sabemos/conocen

You picked sabemos, I would pick conocen, they do not include you, and I think of a university as something you know of/about, are familiar with rather than something you know as a fact.

1. Yo ____ montar a caballo. sabe/conozco/sé/conoce

You picked sé, I agree, you know how to ride.

These are my opinions as a fellow learner, await other thoughts.

Most of your answers are correct apart from:

4.Mi novia conoce a mis padres.

8.Sandra y Andrea conocen la Universidad. This must be in the third person plural conocen because sabemos means we know but your answer should say they (Sandra y Andrea) know!

Please remember that the verb conocer is used not only for people but places such as universities!
