Maybe all you need to do is look up each verb in the dictionary here. It will show examples of transitive and intransitive use of each verb as long as it is possible.
Some verbs can only be used transitively (with a direct object) and some verbs can only be used intransitively (without a direct object)
Some verbs, which can only be used transitively have a related pronominal verb (the verb will have an extra -se on the end of it's infinitive form) which can be used intransitively.
An example of this:
The enemy sank the ship. (transitive, the boat is the direct object)
The ship sank. (We can use the same verb in English, intransitively, but we need the pronominal version of hundir - hundirse in Spanish.
El enemigo hundió el barco.
El barco se hundió.
OR
Se hundió el barco. (this is identical to Se Passive when dealing with 3rd person)
