"I shave once a week"

"Yo afeito una vez de semana"

Would this be correct? Or perhaps:

"Yo afeito una vez en la semana"

Personally I would say:

Me afeito una vez a la semana.

or

Me afeito una vez por semana.

Yo is not needed, Me is normal to say you shave yourself, not someone else, it is just typically used reflexively.

The two ways to say per week are just what I am used to.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that por and a la are both quite common when using semana, but that with other time periods por is used much less. Can anyone confirm or refute this? - DilKen, Jun 8, 2017
