¡Arghh! Signing out without wanting to do so

SD Is exceptionally slow this morning, but that is not the major reason for my comment.

The system seems to be signing me out at random times. I have been actively using my computer all morning. It has not went to sleep or anything. I have switched from SD to other sites. Sometimes when I return to SD, I have to sign back in, but not every time.

Is there some sort of medication for this?

As expected, I did have to sign in this time. I don't use the Google or Facebook sign-ins. And, Gulp!, there is no "remember me" option. I'm certain that there used be one.

As I said one of my systems I found that. - bosquederoble, Jun 4, 2017
The others till automatically log me in, I am not going to sign out to see if it has disappeared for all. ;) - bosquederoble, Jun 4, 2017

I just reawakened my computer. I have four tabs open in Chrome. In order from left to right they are SD, RAE, NOAA (National Weather Service), and Radio Mambí. Ths is my normal, everyday setting. I had to sign into SD. The very first thing I did was to read the SD's QA. Following NKM's advice. I wanted to see if my "Remember Me" was checked, but was unable to do so. So I closed the SD tab and reopened it. I did not have to sign back in. My next chore will be to actually sign out, close SD and come back in.

Don:

I, and others here, have noticed the same thing lately.

One thing that works pretty well for me is to open other sites in new tabs. I keep my first tab on SD and switch between areas of SD but do not switch to other sites with that tab. I usually keep several other frequently used tabs open for other sites as well, and only use my last tab for switching to other random sites.

Hope this helps.

When you login your username/password, save the username/password once you are sign-in to auto login. If you went offline, the sign-in page should be auto-filled with username/password. This is the only way for me to mitigate the situation.

There is a checkbox for "remember me" and if not checked you need to log in each time. One of my systems does not show that and I have to log in each time, but I used the method of NKM, the password is saved and I just hit the enter to the automatic fill - bosquederoble, Jun 4, 2017
