Accent on Vivaz?

My teacher thinks that vivaz has an accent on the a. However, when I look on SpanishDict, the word doesn't have an accent. So you don't need one?

Vivaz doesn't need an accent mark. The strong syllable is the last one vi - VAZ, when the last syllable is the strong one, they have an accent mark if the word ends in "n", "s" or in any vowel. Vivaz ends in "z" so no accent mark.

Vivaz doesn't have a written accent or tilde but the stressed syllable (when you pronounce it) is on the A of vivAz.
When a word ends in Z and there is no written tilde or accent you stress it orally on the last syllable.
