Help with a birthday party in Spanish

Question

Mi cumpleaños hermanas fue ayer, tuvimos una fiesta de cumpleaños para ella. Llevaba una camisa rosa y pantalones grises. Preparado los decoraciones, las flores y los globos. Comimos pizza y bebieron soda. Después de bailamos mucho. Me sentía enfermo después de comer y bailar. Ayudé a mi mamá a limpiar la casa y lavar los platos. Nos dijo a mi hermana para no limpiar nada porque era su cumpleaños.

What i want to say: My sister's birthday was yesterday, we had a birthday party for her. I wore a pink shirt and grey pants. I prepared the decorations, the flowers and the balloons. We ate pizza and drank soda. After that we danced a lot. I felt sick after eating and dancing. I helped my mom clean the house and do the dishes. We told my sister not to clean up because it was her birthday.

I am suppose to be describing this birthday party in the past tense (preterit or imperfect) and with reflexive verbs and i am not sure if i did that right

It looks good. Regarding your question, you shouldn't use the imperfect just the preterit and the present tense where it applies. It's the same tenses that you would use with English. - kingdonshawn, Jun 1, 2017

Also don't think you need that para after Le dijimos. You could use que instead of para if you wanted to add that break between the verbs - kingdonshawn, Jun 1, 2017

Mi El cumpleaños de mi hermana fue ayer, tuvimos una fiesta de cumpleaños para ella. (That is alright but I would have said something like: "le hicimos una fiesta para festejarlo" maybe.
Llevaba Me puse una camisa rosa y pantalones grises. Preparé las decoraciones, las flores y los globos. Comimos pizza y bebimos soda. Después de bailamos mucho. Me sentí enfermo (if you are a girl, it shoud be enferma) después de comer y bailar. Ayudé a mi mamá a limpiar la casa y a lavar los platos. Le dijimos a mi hermana que no limpie nada porque era su cumpleaños.
