Could you please proofread this? I am giving the English translation as well.

This is the meaning: It was a dark and frightening moment. The class turned pale, and began to sweat. It was Espanol Solomente! In the middle of this, one girl held her head high. She had a cheerful smile on her face, and looked at her friend, Maria, who was pale. To cheer that girl up, she kicked her foot, in a playful manner. Maria looked up, and saw that silly smile. Those smiles were contagious. Soon, the color returned back to her cheeks, and she grinned. Then, Maria kicked back at her friend. This continued until they died of laughter. Other students began to notice, and they smiled as well. Even Senor Flamenco began to smile, slowly. That girl was able to be the light in the midst of the surrounding darkness. Her liveliness made everyone laugh and smile.

Looking at your profile, I see I've said that already. lol What is your language? - rac1, Jun 1, 2017
Oh just see if the Spanish part is correct. I had to translate that English passage into Spanish, and I don't know if it is correct. - ayitsama, Jun 1, 2017
I don't understand the "estuvo espanol solomente" bit, and it says the same in the English version. Was the class scared because the teacher was only speaking Spanish? Is that what you wanted to say? - aileribel, Jun 1, 2017
Teachers sometimes put up little signs telling the class which language to speak. "Español solamente" was to direct the class to speak Spanish only. - Daniela2041, Jun 1, 2017
I was supposed to write the entire story in the preterite tense, as we haven't learned imperfect yet. And espanol solomente is a day where you must only speak Spanish in the classroom. - ayitsama, Jun 1, 2017
