Who runs the games?
Hey everyone. I am curious to how people are chosen to run the games. Do you have to create one to run one or does the admins decide who gets to run them? Are they hard to come up with or to run?

My opinion:
Don't try to do a thread already being done. So the Spanish word of the day, English word of the (periodicness) and the picture of the day have owners. I probably would not try to steal one of Katydew's periodic ones either. Take one, drop one, and Que es esto also have owners. If you could come up with something that successful it would be impressive.
Other concepts are fair game. But you should watch enough games to know how they work, and use an idea the functions well. If it only has a single answer, it does not function as a game. Certain ideas tend to peter out fast. A to Z games have done well if broad enough that they can be kept going, and are ones that various people have posted. I even did one once, and every once in a while think maybe I should try one again, although there are fewer people who can be counted on to do games anymore, and no one likes to have their idea flop.
Here is the game I did. It does sound a bit sad that I have done only one, since I do tend to play them, but you are expected to monitor them, etc.:
