First, I know a common phrase in Spanish is "Como te va", or how's it going? How would you use this in the Usted form? Would it be "Como le va Usted"

Also, we just returned from two weeks in Argentina and Chile where I was able to practice my Spanish every day. I want to continue doing this, even though in the USA there aren't as many opportunities as I need/would like. I would love some suggestions on reliable ways to have conversations to improve my Spanish, such as paid services, smartphone applications, etc. Right now I have some friends at work who help me with my Spanish, but outside of that, it's been hard having face to face conversations to practice. Thanks

As far as being able to speak Spanish on a daily basis, It helps to live where Spanish is spoken. The entire southwest is heavily populated with Spanish speakers. In certain areas of southern California, you won't hear much English. Parts of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, even up north in Colorado there are many Spanish speakers.

I have heard that in New York, there are many many Spaniards and Puerto Ricans. I haven't verified this. It's just something I heard.

In Florida there is a large number of Cuban immigrants who have brought a large part of their culture with them.

However is you live in Nebraska, or North/South Dakota you might have a problem. Those and many other states have very few hispanohablantes.
