I see having looked it up, Bosque has beaten me to it. I remember spending time in New Delhi as diwali finished and all the beautiful lights and weddings. I also remember in Delhi the monkeys clambering all over the monuments. I thought the Bahai temple was beautiful.

Anyway I am answering this to welcome you to the forum, but wiki is great because often the articles are written in different languages - it may help you with your project

Nueva Delhi

I have just checked my link and it has gone to the article in English, whereas I thought I had linked to Spanish. If you look to the left of the article there are links to other languages including español. Note the articles in other languages are not necessarily translations eg an article about a Spanish person will be more detailed in Spanish.

A good resource for all countries, nationalities and capital cities (but not other cities) is this, although it is Spanish only (This is from the RAE):

http://lema.rae.es/dpd/apendices/apendice5.html

India* (la). País de Asia. Gent. indio, -dia. Cap. Nueva Delhi.

I answered primarily to give this resource for the RAE accepted names. As Mardle note, going to Wiki and changing the language to Spanish is another great method, and will work with any city. :) - bosquederoble, May 18, 2017
