I have a composition that I need to be proofread to see if it makes sense and I was hoping that someone could let me know if there are any sites online that could automatically proofread for me.

Welcome to SpanishDict. You would need to post it here in both languages, Spanish and English. - rac1, May 16, 2017

Did you do a search in Google? I did one yesterday about this and found several sites that offer automatic proofreading.

Alternatively, we can help you with real humans if you upload your Spanish and English.

One advantage of using real humans is that we will try to help you understand the reasons for your mistakes rather than just correcting them for you.

In addition, automatic proof checkers, while they serve a purpose, are prone to making errors just as machine translators often do, unless the text is very rudimentary.

One place you can start, however, is with Google Translate. Enter your Spanish. Read the English translation. Does it make sense in English? If not, can you see what you might need to change? Even if it does make sense in English is no guarantee that it is correct in Spanish, but it's a start to catch basic errors.

Now why didn't I think of that??? - Daniela2041, May 16, 2017
This needs to be said over and over again, so people will run their translation through a translator like you said, then let us have a go at it for final check. - Daniela2041, May 16, 2017
Dani: The only way I can think of for it be be "said over and over again" is to include an abbreviated version of the last paragraph in the SD Rules. Agree? Moderators...what do you think? I'll be happy to write a slimmed down version if you want. - DilKen, May 16, 2017
I was thinking of that but neglected to write it. I hope some mod will go for it. - Daniela2041, May 16, 2017
