Finished up with a problem and was hoping you guys could check it out for me.

Como tú no "fue" (ir) a la fiesta, tenía que contarte lo que pasó. Ayer "estuve" (estar) muy ocupada con las preparaciones, pero salió súper bien. Para alegrar la casa, puse música típica mexicana y la verdad es que a todos "les gustaron" (gustarles) mucho. Los amigos de mi hermana también "trajeron" (traer) música española y al final nosotros "hicimos" (hacer) una fiesta hispana, en lugar de una fiesta de cumpleaños. Pero en fin, lo importante es que lo pasamos muy bien todos. A ver si puedes venir la próxima vez.

If all you need checked is what is in the quotes, here are my thoughts

Tú- fuiste (not fue)

Estuve seems good

Les gustó- the subject of gustar is not “todos” it is the situation. Todos is the indirect object=les

Trajeron and hicimos seem good.

I am a learner as well, I occasionally make mistakes.

When you do not have a clear subject (not object but subject) gustar will usually be third person singular. :) - bosquederoble, May 5, 2017
