Si todo lo lavamos con agua, ¿Porqué no lo lavamos todo con agua?

Hey everyone!!! This advert posted this about a washing machine. I know it seems simple but I just don't get it. Is it meant to be witty or clever?

Could anyone translate it for me in a way that it is supposed to make some people laugh? This is what I got:

"If we wash everything with water, why do we not wash everything with water."

As you can see I don't understand the syntax or why the TODO makes a difference if it is placed at the end instead of the beginning. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi.

It's an advert for a clothes-washing machine? When I search the web for Si todo lo lavamos con agua, ¿Porqué no lo lavamos todo con agua?, I find not a washing machine but a toilet that does, with water, that which we usually do with paper. The question then makes sense: If we wash everything with water, why don't we wash that with water?

If your advert shows a washing machine, perhaps someone at the ad agency was having a very bad day.

?Habrá fotografía que acompaña la frase? ¿Cuál es la marca de la lavadora? Puede ser un juego de palabras, cuyo percepción sea evidente por la imagen. Sospecho algo con "con agua" o "conagua".

We are deviating from the purpose of this site, but (butt?) I think it deserves comment. If the advertisement is in Spanish, it may be directed to consumers in Venezuela where they don't have the luxury of certain paper products.

I am thinking that the advertiser is a Japanese firm. Tney are very innovative. They have clothes washers that use no water. I said, "no water." The high-tech (and very expensive) machines use sound waves to clean fabrics. I don't know much about it,

However, the next time a Japanese rock band comes to my local arena, I will don yesterday's underwear.
