Slang translation help

I need someone who is a Mexican native to help me translate the meaning of some slang I recently heard, please!
a response to a question I had recently was something along the lines of "I am lacking a chi". It is the "chi" part that I didn't understand. I know there are slang words that begin with the letters CHI, but what would this even translate to?

Your question is a bit unclear.
Do you want the literal sentence translated? If so, here it is:
"Necesito que alguien que sea nativo mexicano me ayude a traducir el significado de alguna jerga que escuché recientemente, por favor".
