Direct Object Pronouns1

Question

Ok, I am suppose to complete the sentence with the correct form of the direct object.

For instance ¿diste los regalos? Si, _____ di a mi madre. So I filled in los .

I am stuck with ¿tenemos que dejar una propina? Sí, uds. ______ tienen que dejar____.

I am assuming I am suppose to put an indirect object in but I am not sure which object goes where

Must we leave a tip? Yes you must leave it?

This is a confusing task because there is no mention of anyone as an indirect object, so there appears to be an extra blank that should not be there. A direct object pronoun is the only thing needed to be added.

Two ways to say it: Sí, la tienen que dejar / Sí, tienen que dejarla.
