una conseja, por favor
Buenas Tardes. Querría suplicar una conseja. Yo sé que cuando se empieza una frase "Quiero que..." Así luego hay que usar subjuntivo. (Per ejemplo: Quiero que me digas verdad) pero cuando la parte primera sea empezada con Querría que o sorpendería que... Qué sigue luego? Siempre ley una forma en la que fue usado subjuntivo preterito (como supiera, dijeras....) Lo sabe usar y sé que en el momento en el que se diga una frase con si, aunque... Hay que usar "Si viviese, sería feliz" pero me interesa si puedo decir "Querría que me digas la verdad" o es tenido que decir " Querría que me dijeras la verdad") (En realidad es posíble queescriba "es tenido que+ infinitivo"? As far as I know, and according to the Butt & Benjamin Spanish grammar book that I have, if you use the conditional in the main clause, the subordinate clause must use the imperfect subjunctive. I have read many lessons on the use of the subjunctive and they all agreed on this point.
Here is a sampling of sentences from context.reverso.net and, while I did not read all of them, I read about 10 of them and they all used the imperfect subjunctive.
Querría que intentaras salvarle el útero. She'd want you to try to save her uterus. Querría que encontrases la manera de hacer este trabajo a tu forma. She'd want you to find a way to do this job on your own terms. Querría que tuvieras una vida donde las cosas crecen y prosperan. She'd want you to have a life where things grow and thrive and not just crumble. Querría que fueras amado por alguien que pudiera corresponderte. She'd want you to be loved by someone who can love you back. Querría que le recordara por algo. I would like you to keep him in mind for something. Querría que me dijera qué hacer. I just wish he was here to tell me what to do. Querría que siguiésemos donde lo dejó. He wants us to pick up where he left off. Querría que averiguáramos qué está sucediendo en realidad. He would want us to find out what is really happening, what's real. Querría que el testigo nos dijera si Catherine... I would like the witness to tell us whether Catherine... Querría que puedas tenerme la mano. I wish you were going to be there to hold my hand. Querría que Henry y tú estuvierais juntos. I know she'd want you and Henry to be together. Querría que hablase el director del Centro Bioetérico. I'd like to ask the director of the Bio-Etheric Center to speak. Querría que ellas vinieran a mí. I just wish they'd come up to me. Querría que la investigación siguiera adelante. I would want the research to move forward. Querría que el servicio quede fuera de este asunto. I hope we can keep the service out of this affair. Even if you find a couple with the present subjunctive, it does not mean they are correct. Some of these come from movie subtitles which are notorious for having the occasional grammatical error.
