Could someone please help me understand the direct object pronoun. I have a test on it tomrrow and need to know this.

How to use the word lo or la. Finding indirect object stuff like that.

This is asked at least once a week. Daniela has prepared notes on it if you check through previous posts.

I think Study Spanish explains it well and has some quizzes.

Study Spanish

The ones to pay attention to are the third person singular and plural.

Direct object is lo/la los/las and indirect is le/les. lo/s is for he/they or it masculine and la/s for she they them female.

The order is the opposite way round to in English.

The way I remember is le gusta = it is pleasing to him/her eg indirect object
