Un lek (arena) es un grupo de machos de una especie, los que se reúnen en un lugar específico y se pavonean, y a veces se pelean, delante de las hembras para ganar el derecho de aparear con las hembras, las que seleccionan los machos que presentan los mejores exhibiciones para engendrar la próxima generación.
A lek is a grouping of males of a species, which meet up in a specific place and strut about, and sometimes fight, in front of the females to win the right to mate with the females, which select the males that present the best exhibitions to sire the next generation.
