Proper way to write "Anyway"

Proper way to write "Anyway"

I'm working on homework for Spanish, and I was trying to say that when I was younger, I played tennis and swam. I wasn't very good at either, but I enjoyed it anyway. I'm thinking it would look like this:

Cuando era joven, yo jugaba el tenis y yo nadaba. No era muy bueno (not sure how to say "At either), pero me divertía mucho de todos mundos.

According to this site, "De todos mundos" is how to express the idea of "anyway" like I need to use it. Is this the right way to say it? Thanks!

Anyway is de todos modos or de todas maneras

Cuando yo era (más ) joven , nadaba y jugaba al tenis. No era bueno en ninguno de los dos, pero me divertía de todos modos.

It is true you could also say disfrutaba But then I would add mucho. ........pero disfrutaba mucho de todos modos.

I highly recommend using context.reverso.net for this type of inquiry. There, you can enter the word "anyway" in English and you will see thousands of complete Spanish sentences that use different ways of expressing the concept. It also tells you which Spanish phrase is used the most, second, third, etc.

Here are the most common ways in order of frequency:
de todos modos [adv] de todas formas [adv] de todas maneras [adv] en fin [adv] de cualquier manera [adv] como sea bueno de cualquier forma [adv] además [adv] en cualquier caso [adv] de cualquier modo [adv] igualmente [adv] en todo caso [adv] al menos [adv] por cierto [adv] aún así [adv] con todo [adv] a pesar de todo [adv]

For each sentence, you can even go back to the original source (a book, movie, magazine article, etc.) and see the context in which the phrase was used.

Hi.

Here are some thoughts from a Spanish learner (I offer no guarantee of correctness):

Your Cuando era joven means When I was young. When I was younger is Cuando era más joven.

You could do without the yos in yo jugaba and yo nadaba.

jugaba al tenis, not jugaba el tenis.

For I wasn't very good at either, I would say no era muy bueno en cualquiera.

Your me divertía mucho to me means I enjoyed myself a lot. If you want to say that you enjoyed the sports, you might say los disbrutaba.

That's de todos modos, not de todos mundos.
