i need a translation of the word "cross-ties", as in the connecting point of the cross of Christ

Thanks much, James. This is the name of a ministry, "In the Cross-ties". I think I will just have to just go with the cross. I appreciate your taking the time to help.

Are you perhaps trying to translate the lyrics of a song containing this verse?

Jesus built a bridge to Heaven, with three nails, and two cross-ties.

If so, I think the English is a bit strange, since a cross-tie is a railroad tie (called a tie because it ties together the two steel rails), and obviously there were no railroads 2000 years ago. Therefore, your translation would probably have to use another term, such as timbers.
