Need help with homework
Hi! I need help with my homework. It says, "En parejas, turnense para hacer preguntas sobre el tema de la vida sana. Sean creativos." I'm not very creative and am not sure how to form what they want. The example is: encontrar un gimnasio Estudiante 1: Has encontrado un buen gimnasio cerca de tu casa?

Welcome to the forum. I know how you feel. I was in Spanish class last week and we were forming questions in Spanish using a particular construction of the subjunctive and I couldn't do it in the short time we had, not because I did not understand the concept but because I couldn't think of what to say in English. I tell myself it doesn't need to be true - noone cares, it is just learning Spanish!
Ken has given you some tips. So far as the last one I have never smoked, but I know from friends who have stopped it is very hard, one replaced cigarettes by eating sweets then had to cut the sweets out and another has tried e cigarettes but they both feel better and have more money.
The example doesn't seem creative. It looks like your question has to include the topic so 'why do you keep falling asleep in class won't work for 5
Good luck
I'll help you a little without doing the Spanish for you. The first thing you should do is copy and paste the Spanish text that you just posted into translate.google.com. Then read what it says in English to make sure you understand the topics. I did this part for you and posted the English below.
To get started, ask your partner a question, in Spanish, about the first topic: try to be in shape. (physically fit, right)
For example: What do you do to try to stay in shape? Then your partner answers: I like to play basketball and ride my bike. Then your partner asks you a question about the second topic and you answer him/her.
Then, I assume you have to write down the questions and answers that you and your partner make up. (ask your teacher about this if you're not sure) Once you have done the writing you can repost here and someone will help you to correct mistakes. They won't give you all the answers but they will tell you what type of things you are getting wrong and maybe share some links to study, etc.
The only other help I'll give you right now is to remind you of some common question words/starters: What? How? When? How much? Have you ever? Do you? How did Pedro, Did you know that? Do you think? Why? Do you know anyone who? etc.
"In pairs, turn around to ask questions about healthy living. Be creative." I'm not very creative and I'm not sure how to do what they want. The example is: Find a gym Student 1: Have you found a good gym near your home? Student 2: I did not find a gym, but I know I should look for one. The questions are: 1. try to be in shape 2. be on the diet the last two months 3. stop drinking soda 4. get a cholesterol test 5. train five days a week 6. change from a sedentary life to one Active life 7. take vitamins at night and in the morning 8. exercise to relieve tension 10. stop smoking
By the way, as you can see that Google Translate isn't smart enough to translate perfectly. For example, instead of saying "turn around" if it was smarter, it would say "take turns" You have to be aware of possible problems with computer translators and sometimes figure out yourself what is really meant.
