Hi, desax.
This is a language learning site. Spanish speakers are learning English. Let's not teach them any help ??? i really need it pls when we could be teaching them I really need help, please. Understand?
Many recipes in Spanish use the passive voice instead of the imperative. But you should be able to find plenty with the imperative. Look, here's one:
http://allrecipes.com.mx/receta/8814/galletas-de-avena-con-pasas-y-nuez.aspx
It seems to have only about 10 imperatives, not the 15 that you need. Do you recognize the imperative verbs in this recipe? If so, you'll have no trouble finding a recipe with 15.
If you have specific questions about Spanish vocabulary, grammar, or usage, please. ask us. Good luck!
Haga( imperative) un intento y le ayudaremos.
Basque recipe txipiroiak bere tintan. Chipirones en su tinta
(Poner)__________ en una sarten dos o tres cucharadas de aceite de oliva y cuando esté caliente (añadir)______ tres cebollas rojas bien picadas , dos dientes de ajo y un pimiento verde (dejar)_______ rehogar hasta que la cebolla éste bien pochada (agregar) _______ ocho o diez cucharadas de tomate triturado y . ...... make an attemp
What level is your Spanish? I remember learning the imperative, before I started learning the subjunctive mood. Luis and Astotxua, one from Mexico the other from Spain have given you lots of help.
I suspect your teacher wants you to write 15 'orders' not necessarily 15 different verbs. You are likely to use poner and añadir more than once. Recipes are written using infinitive, se or imperative. Usually you use tu - which is the same as 3rd person present [but some are irregular like poner] I use word reference or there is a conjugator on this site.
Here is a link with some useful verbs
We did a listening exercise in class then wrote the recipe using the se construction.
The verbs we used we
añadir/bajar/calentar/cocer/cocinar/colocar/cubrir/dorar/echar/hacer/hervir/poner/remover/repartir/reposar/revolver/sofreir
I have also seen derretir [to melt/thaw] and trocear [chop/dice]
Here is the video we watched
I suspect you are fairly new to Spanish so your teacher wants you to learn some new verbs and get better at using the imperative. I suggest you find a recipe for soup or an omelette. If you need a Spanish recipe try tortilla
Meanwhile have a go at astotxua's recipe as he has offered to correct it and check out the meaning of the words Luis has added [I don't know them all]
Remember you are doing this to improve your knowledge of commands not to show off your cookery skills
Here is a hint:
Some verbs in imperative used in recipes:
Lave, pele, corte, rebane, pique...
bata, licue, mezcle...
ase, cueza, fría, dore, hornée, saltée...
Saludos
