This may not be the right word, and I am most probably spelling it incorrectly.

Listen to this line of the Joe Arroyo song Rebelión: https://youtu.be/oWBf9hfW_4Y?t=2m53s

Song Clip

It sounds like he's saying "chaparácate chaparácate" but I can't make out what the words are or what they mean.

Help please smile

I can't answer, hard to hear in the song. There is the word "chaparro" meaning "short" but I find no verb form of it. By coincidence, I was searching this morning for "chaparrera" , which I think is from a verb "chaparrar" which could mean "to cut short." - hharmony, Mar 21, 2017

Chaparar does not seem to be in the Spanish dictionary - however, there is a area in India named Chaparar Bihar; I'm not sure that is what you were looking for smile
