"Corramos"

"Corramos"

Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine about running on Monday, and I said "Corramos", meaning "Let's Run" instead of Corremos, and she corrected me and said "Corremos". I meant it as more of like a command, so I used the subjunctive. Was that wrong, or is there a better way to have said it? Thanks!

Corramos in your context is the same as vamos a correr.

It´s perfectly acceptable, but to avoid confusion you can say ¡Corramos pues!
