How do you say 'she who dares, wins' And 'lions don't lose sleep over the opinion of sheep' please? It's for a tattoo so must be 100% accurate!

Here' the first one:

I also saw one with El que, instead of Quien. You could say La que (if you really wanted to convey the feminine aspect of she)

This seems the opposite- he who doesn’t risk, doesn’t win. What about quien se atreve, gana. - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
Bosque: I don't think it is the opposite. I think it says the same thing in a different way. The opposite would be he who risks, loses. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
For example, relative to the lottery people say "You've got to play to win" or "If you don't play, you can't win" They mean the same thing. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
Okay, opposite was the wrong term. Still there is a shade of meaning difference. He who doesn't risk doesn't necessary imply that he who does, will. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
He who doesn't risk, doesn't win, and only a few of those who do risk, win, the majority still do not. Has a different feel than he who does risk, does win. - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
The above seems to be a very common Spanish idiom. Try doing a google image search for Quien arriesga (without the no) and tons of images show up like the above. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
By the way, Bosque, I agree with you that your suggestion is a more literal translation. I just think she want to use the more common idiom. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
Okay, I am not a native speaker, so I can't definitively say. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
Bosque.. I agree with everything you said. I think we've given her some good options to think about. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
Mine doesn't seem to get memes: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quien_se_atreve,_gana - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
Bosque: and neither am I:) I would advise her to go to a latino tattoo shop with the input from here and see what they advise. - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
For example, I'm not sure the one about lions is very Spanish or Latino. It seems to be derived from a Chinese proverb with tigers - DilKen, Mar 16, 2017
Okay, I have voted for this one as well now. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
BTW, I voted as soon as I saw it for the lions one, but have to admit I have never heard even the English version prior. :) - bosquederoble, Mar 16, 2017
Thank you both so much for your input on this - I really appreciate it guys! - LaurenT1994, Mar 17, 2017
