Lo que dice me ____ mucho
I need a word that fills in the blank, but am not even sure what "lo que dice me" means. Could someone explain this and also give an example of a word that could fit in this sentence?

Welcome to the forum. Are you teaching yourself Spanish, or do you have a teacher?
I don't know what level you are. Often you make sentences using lo que verb + es que.
You can use me dice as he says to me or se dice as it is said.
Here if you have to complete a gap I assume the me is either as a reflexive pronoun or an indirect object.
Lo que = that which or what. You will come across 'lo' in many contexts. It is used in place of some abstract idea - Picasso painted at one time in a period known as 'lo azul' or it can be a direct object pronoun meaning him or it eg the useful phrase no lo entiendo I don't understand
I could give you an answer for the gap, but given what I have written see if you can complete the gap. If it is not an exercise and is something you have heard add some context
I'll give you another clue:
In Spanish, "me" is an object pronoun (as is "me" in English). In Spanish...where do object pronouns go? Before or after what type of word? (noun, verb, adjective, adverb?) If you can answer that question, you'll know what type of word needs to go in the blank.
If you can't answer the question here's a link for you:
Lo que me dice me duele mucho. What he tells me hurts me a lot. Lo que me dice me gusta mucho. I like what he tells me a lot. Lo que me dice me asusta mucho. What he tells me frightens me a lot. Etc, etc, etc
