There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. Make the corrections suggested by other users and moderators in the comments section (try not to use personal pronouns unless absolutely necessary). Use your own words! (Don't use a translator, copy from a book, use song lyrics, etc.) Please keep political, religious or personal statements to a minimum. This is a practice game.

Como yo elegí la última película, cuando fuimos el miércoles, le tocó a mí esposa escogerla. Ella sabía que no sería posible hacerme ver "Fifty Shades" así que me obligó a ver "LA LA Land". Como aficionada de todo lo sensiblero, ella quería que hubiera terminada de verdad como la secuencia imaginaria en el final, pero yo sabía que eso lo habría arruinado.
Because I chose the last movie, when we went on Wednesday, it fell to my wife to pick it. She knew that it would not be possible to make me watch "Fifty Shades" so she forced me to watch "LA LA Land". As a fan of everything mushy, she wished that it would have truly ended like the imaginary sequence at the end but I knew that would have wrecked it.
